We use Kydex and Boltaron thermoplastic materials. These are lightweight, formable, and durable materials well suited for our model-specific holster designs.

Kydex allows us to form a rigid holster around a model-specific mold, with repeatable shape and consistent construction. We choose materials and manufacturing methods based on the holster design and intended use.

Our Kydex holsters are formed for specific models and do not require a traditional leather-style break-in period. If the fit or retention seems wrong, please contact us before making changes.

Our existing product information specifies 0.060-inch Kydex. Please contact our shop if you need to confirm the material or thickness used for a specific holster.

Check your holster regularly for dirt, dust, and lint, and wipe it clean as needed. Our longstanding recommendation is to clean out accumulated debris about once a month. If you notice damaged hardware or fit issues, please contact us.

Holster contact can cause cosmetic finish wear over time. Keeping the inside of the holster free from grit, dust, and debris may help reduce unnecessary abrasion.

Yes. We 3D scan models, design our molds using CAD, and CNC-machine those molds in-house. This is a process we have continually refined since On Your 6 Designs was founded in 2011.

Absolutely. Call, email, or visit our San Antonio shop. We can tell you whether we currently offer your model and discuss possible future availability.

No. We design our holsters around specific models rather than a one-size-fits-all approach. Please select the correct manufacturer and model when ordering.

Yes. We offer inside-the-waistband (IWB) and outside-the-waistband (OWB) holster styles. Available options vary by product and model.

Select the carry-hand option that matches the configuration you need. If you are unsure which option to order, please call us before purchasing and we will help you choose correctly.

Our IWB and OWB designs are intended for their respective carry styles. Please choose the holster type designed for how you plan to wear it.

Yes. Our lineup includes single and double magazine carriers. Our original catalog describes single-magazine models in IWB and OWB styles and double-magazine models in OWB style; check each product page for currently available choices.

Contact us. We can help you review available clip and loop options so you can choose a compatible setup.

If retention does not feel right, please contact us. We can help determine whether an adjustment is appropriate for your specific holster or whether the product should be inspected.

Some designs have adjustable clip or loop mounting positions. The available adjustments depend on the holster style and hardware. Contact us if you are unsure how your particular model is intended to be adjusted.

Our existing guidance does not recommend small-of-the-back carry because a fall or impact against the back can create added injury risk. If you have questions about carry configurations, contact us before ordering.

Our standard manufacturing time is 7–10 business days after payment is processed. Business days are Monday through Friday; weekends are not counted. Shipping transit time is additional.

Every holster is manufactured to your selected model, hand, style, color, and available upgrades. Please allow 7–10 business days for manufacturing, excluding weekends. Once shipped, delivery time depends on the carrier and destination.

Delivery time varies by carrier and destination and is separate from our 7–10-business-day manufacturing timeframe. We provide tracking information when your order ships.

Our standard shipping charge is a flat $7.50 per order. Any applicable shipping amount will be shown at checkout before you place your order.

You have 30 days beginning on the day you receive your holster to contact us about a return. Contact us first for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. We do not charge a restocking fee; original shipping charges are non-refundable, and the customer pays return shipping. Eligible refunds are processed after receipt and inspection.

Our Lifetime Manufacturer's Warranty covers manufacturing defects, normal wear and tear, broken clips, and other holster components. If a product needs to be shipped to our shop for warranty service, the customer pays shipping to us; we pay shipping back to the customer for an approved repair or replacement.

We design and manufacture our custom Kydex holsters at our shop: On Your 6 Designs, 5417 Jackwood Dr, San Antonio, TX 78238. We are veteran-owned, family-operated, and founded in 2011.

Yes! Walk-ins are welcome during regular business hours; no appointment is necessary. Tuesday–Friday: 10 AM–6 PM. Saturday: 10 AM–5 PM. Sunday and Monday: closed. We welcome questions in person, by phone at (210) 362-1549, or by email at info@onyour6designs.com.
